What began as a small celebration in Downtown Knoxville’s Krutch Park and has grown into one of the largest celebrations of Asian culture in the Southeast, the 11th Annual Knox Asian Festival was held at World’s Fair Park on September 8, 2024. Alongside the beloved performances, cuisine, and cultures, festival-goers also got to experience live performances of real ninjas from Japan, participate in Thailand’s “Loy Krathong Festival” tradition, and be immersed in a Holi Festival from Indian culture.
